Who We Are
John Leemhuis, Jr. is the founder and owner of Leemhuis Legal, PLLC. His practice is focused on helping businesses grow and prosper.
Prior to launching Leemhuis Legal, PLLC, John was a partner at the Quinn Law Firm where he ran the firm’s business law group. Over the course of his 27-year career, he has worked with all manner of organizations and entrepreneurs, ranging from high-tech start-ups to boutique life-style businesses.
John has developed technical expertise in the area of securities law, including public offerings, ongoing reporting under Section 16, private placements and early stage financing through angel funds and venture capital investment.
He has also represented both buyers and sellers in asset and stock sales, helping to structure, negotiate and close numerous transactions. He works with entrepreneurs to help form and structure their businesses and address every day issues such as contract review, negotiation, and preparation.
